Brown is her color!

I sewed this little dress back in August
for my Granddaughter Ella's 1st birthday, but never
posted it.
I used some millinery forget-me-nots and made a ribbon rose for the
center. the whole flower pin is removable for washing.
Isn't she a little living doll in it? Of course I am a little bit
prejudice. She is a sweetheart for sure!

your granddaughter is adorable!(no prejudice there!) And that dress you made her is ever so sweet! Gosh..you can't possibly be a grandma to so many? (or at all! you look way too young). Thanks for stopping by my blog for WW. I wanted to let you know that the chenille i used on my xmas stocking was from a cutter piece from a very old bedspread that i found at the salvation army. a good part of the spread was free of stains and holes so i have lots to work with for the price. you should try and find an old spread instead of buying the materiel new. like you said, it is expensive. i hope you have a greta day!

Michele, those grandbabies of yours are so lucky to have such a gifted and giving grandmom! The dress is too lovely on its own, but even more beautiful when being modeled by that cutie-pie.
