Eye-candy workspace filebox

This weekend project has been re-organizing and cleaning out my studio.  I wanted a way to have at my fingertips, some of my most favorite embellishments that are not 3 dimensional.  I took a wood box that sits in my studio, holding some favorites from other bloggers and put those things elsewhere and made 5 chipboard and paper index file dividers.  Here is a peek at them.
I used up some old stickers and vintage embellishments that I had.  Love using those stickers on something!
A little envelope filled with vintage stamps is attached with a paperclip
I have so much vintage and vintage look ephemera, but I got tired of looking thtough it all in different places.
This came to my by a blogging friend on one of my many matchbox swaps.
Here is is altoghether.
Here is the lovely wood box that it all sits in.  Just more eye candy for one of my work spaces.
Another view.  but you will have to wait and see how it looks in the room, for the 3rd annual Where Women Create, coming in July.  If you are interested in that, look at the top of my sidebar and click.
It is great fun for all!
And also check out some of these beautiful German Dresden embossed foils
. . . and the intricate little silhouette here is so delicate.  It is also from Germany I believe.

These dividers are so pretty, Michele! I love how you embellished them. Love the clothes pins with Paris stamped on them, too. I like to be organized but I like to have my functional pieces look pretty, too.

You have been busy Michele - the dividers are gorgeous - unfortunately I cannot participate in the vintage box swap as I live in Australia. But do keep in touch and keep me posted with new things ! Thanks for visiting my blog - call back anytime - I have new stock up every week & the trolley was done by my daughter in her new home - thank you for the compliment - I have passed it on to her.

Hi Michele, thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. I'm originally from Mississippi but have been in Kuwait for the last 17-1/2 years. Those dividers you've decorated are beautiful and I love how you are using that wood box to store them in. Great way to get organized. Something I should be doing instead of blogging, baking and crocheting all day. :) Hope your day is great. I look forward to visiting lots of creative studios in July. Best wishes, Tammy
