decided there are 3 things I love most about thrift store shopping. I am always on the lookout for vintage or vintage look stuff, that doesn't have antique mall prices. This day I got very lucky. . .
1) On the hunt, down every aisle, carefully looking over every little piece. (This was quite a large
thrift store)
2) Finding the special items that you hope no one else is looking at. YES, you got it in your basket.
3) Deciding whether or not you will paint it or just what it will become once you get it home.
My first find was the most exciting of the trip. (Keep in mind that my husband is waiting in the car)
so I am a little bit hurried!
These all were bundled together.
This little frame was laying by the other bundle. I looked around and tried
not to act excited.
Thought this piece looked so intriguing!
never have I only paid .50 for one. Yippy!
And the grand total for all of this was $9.00 I have big plans for this stuff!

yes.... I am green with envy! What fabulous finds!
Beautiful treasures!! You're a good hunter!
Awesome finds! I especially love the smaller set of frames. My gran had those hanging in her house when I was growing up! Just seeing them brought back many memories of the times I spent there.
Really great finds! Good for you!
Oh I laughed!! husband waiting..my DH, is so patient. I am hoping the Thrift shop is open while visiting Kansas..sent my son off to Walmart for his errands, last trip as I knew I'd be forever!! 6 bags later, and $28..I was in heaven. He told me this trip if they know I'm coming he was sure they'd open. Enjoy your finds and have fun creating.
You've got some great finds there! I love thrift stores, too, as you never know what to expect. You definitely hit the jackpot with these frames, and sounds like you have a patient husband.
Thanks so much for your sweet comments at my blog! :)
Impressive finds Michele-and what a great price!
Isn't it great that people recycle and donate? Better than all this cool stuff going in the landfill. I am interested in seeing what you do with it!~Ames
