They are very easy, but I
need to practice more on getting
them to look perfect. I can see
really getting into this. There
are just so many possibilities with
these very tasty, sinful morsels.
Inside these were orange flavored
fall cake centers. I learned a lot
about melting candy coating, and
just when to put the sprinkles on.
I have seen cake balls so many different
places, that I just had to try them. I
think I will be making these at Christ-
mas time to share with friends and
neighbors. I would love your ideas on
flavors and centers. Here are some of mine.
1. Red velvet centers with chocolate coating
2. Spice cake with white chocolate coating
3. Rich dark chocolate centers/dark chocolate coating
4. peanut butter centers surrounded by chocolate cake and chocolate coating
5. peppermint cake centers with white chocolate and ground candy cane sprinkles
The list could go on and on.

Oh my, these look so yummy! I guess I am out of the loop since I have never seen cake balls before. Would you share your recipe?

They look awesome! I would love the recipe!!
Oh! I love these cake balls. When we first had them last year, my niece made up a name for them, "Foozles". I don't know why, but the name stuck. My favorite are the Red Velvet, but loving your Halloween themed Orange ones. (I love orange cake, though it's rarely a flavor anyone uses in cake.) Great idea for Christmas gifts! I may have to "borrow" that.
Thanks for all your thoughtful comments on my blog, too. I really appreciate them!
Mmmmmm!! I have never heard of cake balls either...but they look fabulous and I'm sure they taste wonderful!
Oh my goodness these are beautiful... I would love to reach in the computer and try the peppermint one! I love your blog! Please check mine out. I am counting down to Christmas!
