There just are times that you have to keep something instead of giving it away or selling it. This is one of those times! I have been crafting pillows from Moda and the basic grey charm pack 'Fruitcake' and have added vintage laces and trimmings, and also vintage jewelry and buttons. I wanted to particularly show the details of the "Merry Christmas" on this pillow. The other pillow pictured here was part of my latest giveaway sent off to the winner, and is shown in an earlier post. I used a vintage 'M' pin and a 'C' from K and Company for the "Merry Christmas" and then Stamped with STAZ ON onto distressed cotton. I love how it turned out and wanted to share it on the blog. I will post more pillows as I complete them.

This is a G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. creation...and though many of us would love to have it, I agree that it should be a keeper!!! You are a very talented lady :D ~victoria~
Those are adobable pillows- I can see why you "need" to keep them. I have a hard time of parting with my furniture after spending so much time on it I kind of bond with it. thanks for visiting. tammy
I am a Mother of 8, grandmother of almost 27 wonderful little people. Married to a wonderful man for 38 years. I am a published scrapbooker, have decorated wedding cakes, made wedding dresses, had a wedding business, taught baton twirling lessons to girls for almost 40 years, and love to decorate my home inexpensively. I have always been a 'make-due' sort of person. I love dishes, teacups, teapots, and have to be creating something everyday. I love to listen to beautiful uplifting music and watch Masterpiece Theatre and Jane Austen movies while I scrap, craft or sew. I have become addicted to quilting, and dream about quilt blocks now. I am still working on getting better at this art form. I believe that Creating things with your hands is a good outlet and keeps your mind alert, and has a way of helping one lose all the cares of the day and world, right in my own little studio. Therefore I will never become a digital scrapbooker. I think that those who do digital turn out some beautiful pieces of art and lovely layouts, but for me I need to cut and paste by hand!
