I am taking a break from crafting just long enough to do this post. On Friday and Saturday, there will be the "Hidden Cottage Christmas Craft Boutique here at my home. Am I ready for this? NO! I still am working on finishing up crafts I have started, but not starting new ones. But that is not all, as I have to clean up the house and decorate. Will I get it all done. Maybe with a little lack of sleep. Here are few more things that will be sold in my boutique.

Frame it Up!
More for the "Hidden Cottage Craft Boutique" Some Uniquely framed pieces find new purpose!
I sprayed this old rusty muffin tin and turned it into a 12 days of Christmas display Vintage style. Of course this idea came from my boards on Pinterest! Love it and will have a hard time selling it!
I framed up little bits of Vintage here!
Glass glittered frame makes this little image special.
Lots of vintage got glittered and mica flaked up good!
I can't stand it! I love this look with the burlap and they are perfect for displaying pierced wire earrings, and brooches.
Just so simple and elegant. Who would have thought Burlap could be so pretty!
This Christmas Tree brooch is lovely in the corner.
Many Chalkboards will grace my boutique in all sizes and shapes!
I found this little tray chalkboard idea on Pinterest. These are Dollar Tree Trays!
I made these mini silver metal frames into three ornaments. I used glass glitter on each side. Love the gleam and the sparkle together.

Preparing for a Christmas Boutique
The last day of November and the first day of December, I will host the Hidden Cottage
Some of the tart tin ornaments that I have made.
I got this idea from someone else. An Etsy shop favorite, I just changed it up a bit!
craft boutique, so I have been crafting away night and day! I will be posting the crafts I will be selling there. I have finished lots, but just for starters, here are some pictures of some of the crafts I have been working on.
A visit from St. Nickolaus shadow box
I took a vintage music box and made this with it. I added some new foil embossed wings,
tinsel and a shaker box. It plays Silent night and I think it looks so sweet!

Month of Thanks and Mercury glass
I put away all the Halloween decorations yesterday, and today is my anniversary of my husband and I 's first date, so we are taking off a little early today to celebrate. When the Halloween decorations came down, then I just shifted to Thanksgiving. I love November, because of two reasons; First of all, it is the month when we think about all that we are thankful for, (although I try to do this all the time) and second it is the month we start preparing for Christmas. Thank goodness, we don't have a presidential election every November, because I don't think we could handle that every year. Can't wait until it is over! My heart goes out to all those who were affected by the horrific storm on the east coast!
My Mikasa Thanksgiving platter is ready for that Turkey!
My centerpiece for the table might change a bit in the next couple of weeks.
And everyone knows how much I love mercury glass, and polished silver with slightly tarnished look. My friends are starting to take notice, and give it to me as gifts, and when I see an unusual piece, I just can't hardly resist it.
A few weeks ago I was in this unusual shop, and found this candle holder. I just had to bring it home. These two pieces are authentic mercury glass.
I finally found the Looking glass paint by Krylon (it is hard to find,so my local hardware started carrying it just for me) so I could try this faux mercury glass effect. I love the results on these glass pumpkins that I found at thrift stores. Oh Happy day!
And then this is the other faux mercury glass treatment that I did on a plastic pumpkin. I used bright silver paint with a touch of hammered iron. I love spray paint! I paid $1.00 for each one of my pumpkins treated. So HAPPY NOVEMBER TO ALL!
