Today is my youngest granddaughter's 1st birthday. I just had to show off the cake my daughter made
and the cute banner that my daughter in law made for the party!
The cake was a simple one, because my daughter who made it is 9 months pregnant! Simple sometimes can turn out to be so great!
She acted as though she could not believe that anyone would let her just dig into the cake. She liked it very much!
I loved the yellow and pink.

Claire is adorable and please give her a hug from me a Canadian. I have six Grandchildren that are teens now. Seeing this brings back the sweet memories of Birthdays with my Grandchildren when that age. I loved these moments too. From her expression when they go all hands in it and face. Big unsure look. Our little Summer Rose will be 1 on Sept 9th She is in Germany and not yet hooked up to internet etc so no Webcam Can't wait to see how she will
