We have moved to a new house, and have a new computer and we got things are figured out on that new computer, so hopefully I really will be back to blogging more regularly again. I even figured out how to get the pictures from my smartphone onto the computers. Yay! Here are some new things at the new house that I have done up in Burlap, and a bathroom makeover with an Oregon Coast theme.
Here is the entrance to our new home. New to us, but the home is 18 years old. The front door had never been painted, so I choose to paint it white and redid the trim in a biege to match the stucco.
The bench was one we brought from our old place and I restained it to give it a fresh look.
The before in the guest bathroom. Someone painted this mural quite a few years ago. I know that it was the someone's artwork, but it wasn't me. I found paint to match to cover the mural and then after our trip to the Oregon Coast this summer, I changed the bathroom with that trip as inspiration.
I found this old worn out board outside and turned it into a great place for bath towels to dry out.
I found this Paris inspired printed Burlap for my table runner.

Two craft projects I did for the bathroom, were some great things I have picked up off the beaches I have visited, and the seahorse print was printed in black and white and then I colored it with chalks.

I am back to blogging
I am back after a long absence from blogging due to what else, but technology problems. I won't go into the reasons, I will just say that I am happy to be back, and wanted to post some new things that I have made with Burlap accents. I love using Burlap!

Done it this time!
So anyway after giving him my trusty little laptop, with all my pictures on it, he took it off my hands, and then I got the bright idea that I needed to upgrade my smart phone. I had an iphone 4S and liked it but the screen seemed so small compared to all the newer ipones and samsung galaxys etc, that i was jealous. Well I sold the tablets, sold my digital camera, and my iphone all so that I could get a new phone for nothing. Now I am left with a slow computer, and a smart phone that has a good camera, but I don't know how to get the pictures I take onto my old computer, and I can't access this blog on it due to some weird things that happened when I changed some passwords. I have had a month long ordeal, with getting to know how to use a galaxy verses the iphone. Well hopefully I will be able to rectify these little problems of mine. Hopefully you will see more pictures in the future and also more blog posts. I still love blogging, but just have gotten away from it, but would like to start blogging again. Plus, sometimes I am just plain old technologically handicapped.
All because I wanted this:
